About this Project
We are the proud developers of the Buffalo Branch II Project, a 150 MW wind project proposed on privately owned lands near Dade County, Missouri. This project would produce enough energy to power approximately 30,000 homes annually.
Project Location
The Buffalo Branch II Wind Project is located on approximately 15,000 acres of privately owned two miles north of Lockwood, Missouri and approximately three miles West of Greenfield, Missouri. This land is predominately used for ranching and agricultural purposes.
Project Development
With decades of experience, we have a team of internal experts to take projects from conception and make them a reality. Our team works in close consultation with government agencies and key stakeholders to site, build and operate our facilities responsibly. The Buffalo Branch II Wind Project was recently acquired in 2023 by BluEarth Renewables. The project lands are currently being analyzed for wind speed, wind resource, sensitive habitat and other biological features. All site constraints are mapped and will inform project design.
