Arun Banskota

President & Chief Executive Officer

Arun leads BluEarth as President & CEO and brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across renewable energy, power infrastructure, and large-scale energy operations in North America and globally, including growing infrastructure businesses and establishing strong operational excellence cultures.

Previously, as the President & CEO of Algonquin Power, he led a publicly listed company that owned and operated over 2,000 MW of renewable generation capacity, and provided electricity, water, and natural gas to over 3 million customers in North America. Prior to Algonquin, Arun held senior leadership roles at Amazon’s AWS, where he had overall responsibility to plan, engineer, develop, and construct all datacenter capacity globally. Arun has led three start-ups, two of them as the CEO, from concept through commercialization in utility-scale solar, electric vehicle infrastructure, and carbon capture. Arun has held senior executive positions at NRG Energy and El Paso Corporation. He has served on the boards of public companies (Algonquin, Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure, East Asia Power), industry associations, and numerous joint venture companies.

Arun has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a MA from the University of Denver. He is recognized for his ability to scale renewable energy platforms, lead complex organizations, and deliver long-term, sustainable value.

Shaun Wrubell

CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER

Shaun oversees the legal, corporate secretary, government relations, insurance, risk management, business systems and land contracts functions. He is also responsible for overseeing the sustainability strategy at BluEarth. He works closely with CVC DIF, the board of directors and executive team on corporate governance matters. Since joining BluEarth in 2016, Shaun has played a key role in numerous project acquisitions, negotiation of key partnership agreements and our expansion into new markets. He served as Interim President and CEO from August 1, 2025, to February 2, 2026.

Shaun has extensive experience advising energy and power companies in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and project finance, corporate governance, project development, joint ventures, sustainability matters, government relations and lobbying, enterprise risk management, securities and capital markets and general commercial matters. Prior to joining BluEarth, Shaun worked at Canadian Oil Sands Limited in various legal roles up to the time of its sale to Suncor and, prior to this, was a corporate associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.

Shaun has a Juris Doctor (Law) and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Studies) from the University of Saskatchewan, a certificate in ESG, Climate Risk and the Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Governance Professionals of Canada Designation (GPC.D), and a Competent Boards ESG and Sustainability Designation (GCB.D).

Josh Teigiser

Chief Development Officer

Josh is responsible for leading the growth of BluEarth’s portfolio, including all aspects of project development, acquisitions, and key partnerships. Josh also plays a key role supporting the development of corporate strategy and execution.

Josh brings over 25 years’ experience in the development of wind, solar, battery storage, transmission, clean hydrogen, and distributed generation across the U.S. Prior to joining BluEarth, Josh held leadership roles at Origis, San Diego Gas & Electric, Sempra U.S. Gas & Power, Sempra Renewables, and Sempra Energy.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an Executive Management Certificate from Harvard University.

Kim Carter

Vice President, People & Culture

Kim is responsible for delivering our human resources strategy, policy, and programs, and for providing functional leadership and guidance to our corporate and operations management teams.  Kim has over 20 years of human resources experience.

Prior to joining BluEarth in 2018, Kim was a member of the human resources team at Repsol where she was responsible for ensuring the successful integration of Talisman Energy with Repsol, to form one of the world’s largest global energy groups.  Kim has provided strategic human resources support and delivery for diverse organizations from start-up organizations as well as large global companies in the oil and gas, chemicals and manufacturing industries, including Calfrac Well Services, Devon Energy, Talisman Energy and Repsol.

Kim studied Sociology at the University of Calgary and at the University of Lethbridge and has a Masters of Business Administration from Royal Roads University. Kim is a member of Chartered Professionals in Human Resources – Alberta (CPHR), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and World at Work.

Josh Pollard

VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE

Josh is responsible for corporate and project finance at BluEarth and has played a key role in the company’s growth over the past 12 years. He has been directly involved in every asset the company has brought into operation, and either led, provided oversight, or supported the structuring and execution of all financing activities since inception. For the past seven years, Josh has also led the finance function, building and overseeing a disciplined, high-performing team aligned with BluEarth’s long-term objectives. Across his tenure, Josh’s work has repeatedly set benchmarks in the market, advancing financing structures and execution standards. He brings 17 years of experience, including more than a decade in renewable power.

Prior to joining BluEarth, Josh worked in corporate banking, where he focused on project finance and corporate lending across oil and gas, infrastructure, and real estate.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Management (Finance) from the University of Lethbridge and an Executive MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

Sandra DeLuca

VICE PRESIDENT, CONTROLLER

As BluEarth’s Vice President, Controller, Sandra oversees all aspects of accounting, tax and financial reporting at BluEarth.  Since joining BluEarth in 2015, she has been instrumental in guiding the accounting team through complex transactions, including multiple acquisitions and corporate reorganizations that have supported the company’s continued growth. Sandra has more than 20 years of professional experience, 10 of which are in the renewables sector.

Prior to BluEarth, Sandra held a senior manager accounting position within the commercial real estate industry.

Sandra holds an Honours BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Leasa Lennox

VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT AND CONSTRUCTION

Leasa is responsible for all areas of engineering, procurement, construction and ensuring successful project execution. Leasa also leads our Health, Safety & Environment team.

Leasa has over 25 years’ experience leading engineering and construction for large-scale renewable energy projects. Prior to BluEarth, she held leadership roles at Northland Power, Potentia Renewables, and Pattern Energy.

Leasa holds formal education in civil engineering technology.

David Pettit

Vice President, Operations

David is responsible for leading our Operations team across Canada and the United States, ensuring the safe and reliable operations of all our renewable energy facilities. In addition, David is responsible for Asset Management. Since joining BluEarth in 2021, David has held increasingly senior leadership roles across BluEarth’s operations, providing strong operational discipline, commercial acumen, a strong commitment to safety, and leadership capability.
 
David brings over 14 years experience in the renewables space, and prior to joining BluEarth, he held greenfield EPC project management roles in renewables on both the ownership and contractor side.
 
David holds a Bachelor of Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University.
