This facility is classified as a Class 4 Wind Facility and received a Renewable Energy Approval (REA) in accordance with Ontario Regulation 359/09 from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment on July 2, 2013. Community Consultation
The St. Columban Wind Facility established a Community Liaison Committee to provide a forum for information sharing and discussion during construction. The committee facilitated two-way communication between the project team and stakeholders.
