Project Development

With decades of collective experience, we have a team of internal experts responsible for taking projects from conception to commercial operations. Our team works in close consultation with Indigenous communities, local landowners, government agencies, and other local stakeholders to site, build, and operate our facilities safely and responsibly. To learn more about our approach to project development, click here.

Project development began in 2024 and has focused on desktop environmental studies including biophysical and wetland evaluations, and cultural, heritage and archeological reviews. A solar monitoring station has been installed to evaluate the solar resource and determine potential locations for infrastructure.

In 2025, the project was awarded a 30-year Electricity Purchase Agreement with BC Hydro to purchase the electricity generated by the m.ah a temEEwuh Solar Project.

As the next step of development, the project started the Early Engagement phase of the Environmental Assessment process and submitted an Initial Project Description and Engagement Plan to the Environmental Assessment Office. In 2026, the project will be completing more field studies and is planning a geotechnical investigation to be able to advance project design considerations.

We are committed to ongoing engagement throughout the decision-making process for the project. We believe trust is the foundation for long-term and successful relationships, and we know that trust is only earned over time, by working together with honest and transparent communications.

Public Open House #2

On October 23, 2025 we hosted our second open house for the m.ah a temEEwuh Solar Project and to introduce the m.ah a temEEwuh Phase II Solar Project at the Logan Lake Recreation Centre. This open house provided an opportunity for the community to learn more about the project, share feedback, and meet our project team.

If you missed this event, you can find the materials shared under the ‘Additional Resources’ section below.

Public Open House #1

On August 14, 2024 we hosted an open house at the Logan Lake Recreation Centre for the community to learn more about the m.ah a temEEwuh Solar Project and share their feedback. Materials shared at this meeting can be found in the ‘Additional Resources’ section below.

Project Infrastructure

The proposed project consists of five development components: a solar photovoltaic panel array, an electrical substation, upgrades to existing site access roads, perimeter fencing and approximately 1.5 kilometer of new transmission line, with an interconnection point to the existing 138kV BC Hydro transmission line 1L203.
