Project Summary

BluEarth is proposing to develop the Riverview Solar Project to be located approximately 1.5 km north of Radville, Saskatchewan. The Project would generate up to 40 MW of electrical power that would be transmitted to the Saskatchewan electrical system. That is enough energy to power up to 6,600 average homes annually with clean renewable power.

The Project will involve the installation of solar photovoltaic panels, panel racking systems, internal access roads, cabling, electrical inverters and other related electrical equipment. Equipment for the Project is proposed to be contained within two quarter sections of land on Hwy 28, NE-24-06-18W2M and SE-24-06-18-W2M.

BluEarth is committed to engaging stakeholders in the decision-making process for the Project. We believe trust is the foundation for long-term successful relationships, and we know trust is only earned over time, by working together with honest and transparent communication. Your feedback is very important to us. Should you have any questions or comments about the Project, please call 1-844-214-2578.

  • Capacity of up to 40 MW of clean renewable power

  • The Project will be bid into the SaskPower solar generation facility Request for Proposals

Project Schedule

A Technical Project Plan has been completed for the Riverview Solar Project, and the project received approval from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment on September 24, 2018. We intend to bid the project into the next SaskPower Solar generation facility RFP process, when this is announced.

In November 2017, we hosted our first Public Meeting for the Riverview Solar Project where the community was invited to learn more about the projects. If you missed it, you can find the information shared under the Project Document tab above.
