The GoodLight Solar Facility is an 10-megawatt solar power generating facility located in the town of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. It uses energy from the sun to generate power by using 7 arrays of photovoltaic panels to create an electric field resulting in an electrical current. Each array contains one cluster consisting of two inverters (to convert from direct to alternating current) and one inverter transformer.
BluEarth acquired the GoodLight Solar Facility in August 2014. It is the second of four solar facilities acquired from Canadian Solar Inc. Read more.
