Calgary, Alberta – September 16, 2021 – BluEarth Renewables (“BluEarth” or “the Company”) is proud to announce Grant Arnold, the Company’s President & CEO, has been named a 2022 Clean16 and Clean50 award honouree.

Canada’s Clean16 and Clean50 Awards are announced annually by Delta Management Group and the Clean50 organization to recognize those individuals or small teams, from 16 different categories, who have done the most to advance the cause of sustainability and clean capitalism in Canada over the past two years.

“I am very honoured and humbled to be recognized for this award,” said Grant Arnold. “This recognition is an important testament to the work of our entire team to advance the development of renewables in Canada and to operate with purpose as we bring together extraordinary people with the power to change the future.”

“The 2022 Clean16 are truly the leaders of the leaders in sustainability in Canada. The competition for the top spot this year in every instance left us with a record number of great choices. To be selected from amongst such a strong group of peers is truly a testament to the contribution Grant Arnold has made to help make Canada more sustainable for all Canadians,” said Gavin Pitchford, CEO, Delta Management Group.

Delta’s criteria in determining honourees is to carefully consider actual measurable accomplishments, demonstrated innovation, collaboration with other organizations, and the power of the honouree’s contribution to inspire other Canadians to take similar action.

“Grant and the BluEarth team have been on a roll,” added Gavin Pitchford. “Over the past two years, BluEarth has led the renewable energy market in Alberta, signing nearly 35% of the approximately $1.3 billion in new renewable energy investment in the province. The Company has developed, acquired, and constructed over 100 MW in the last 12 months alone, making them the largest solar operator in Alberta at the time.”
