BluEarth Renewables Adds to Board of Directors and Development Team

Calgary, Alberta (June 10, 2013): BluEarth Renewables Inc. (BluEarth) today announced the addition of several new key members to its Board of Directors and its renewable energy management team.

BluEarth is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Directors, Paul McMillan and Rick Brouwer.

Paul McMillan has over 30 years of involvement in energy and infrastructure development, including various senior business development and operations roles with EPCOR, Union Energy, and Westcoast Energy group. Paul is a Member of the Board of the Alberta Electric System Operator, and a Past Chair of the Ontario Energy Association. He is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, and holds degrees from the University of Windsor and the University of Toronto.

Rick Brouwer is a professional engineer and an experienced executive having led a number of energy and infrastructure companies, including ATCO Power, as President. Mr. Brouwer holds degrees from the University of Alberta, and has attended the Richard Ivey School of Business.

BluEarth is also pleased to welcome Jason Edworthy to the BluEarth team in the role of Director, Community & Aboriginal Affairs. As one of Canada’s renewable energy pioneers, Jason brings decades of experience in successfully working with stakeholders and Aboriginal communities to develop renewable energy projects across Canada.
