SparkleLight is a 10 megawatt solar power generating facility located approximately 11 km from Beaverton, Ontario. It uses energy from the sun to generate power by using 10 arrays of photovoltaic panels to create an electric field resulting in an electrical current. Each array contains one cluster consisting of two inverters (to convert direct to alternating current) and one inverter transformer.
BluEarth acquired the SparkleLight Solar Facility in December 2014. It is one of four solar facilities acquired from Canadian Solar Inc. Read more.
