Calgary, Alberta – April 16, 2014 – BluEarth Renewables Inc. (BluEarth) is pleased to announce that it has launched its Aboriginal Clean Energy Scholarship (ACES).
BluEarth is inviting students to submit applications for its inaugural ACES program. The ACES provides financial support of $3,000 per academic year and skills development opportunities for Canadian aboriginal students pursuing trades certification, diploma, degree and other programs from accredited post-secondary institutions.
Successful candidates will have an opportunity for a paid internship and to be partnered with a BluEarth team member who will act as a learning partner throughout their academic year. “The scholarship offer a unique opportunity for aboriginal students to gain work experience and learn from one of the most experienced renewable power generation teams in the country,” said Kent Brown, President & CEO of BluEarth.
“This program allows BluEarth to support education and collaborate with the next generation of Aboriginal business leaders,” Brown went on to say.
